The fertile backdrop that is New Orleans inspired the firm of Meyer Davis Studio as they designed Le Méridien for the Crescent City, transforming what was a tired tower into a chic new player. Decor is both assertively local and an expression of Le Méridien’s brand, infused with mid-century Parisian influences.
Reception desks combine statuary marble, walnut veneer, and polished chrome. Herringbone floors are more old school while the bold runner skews decidedly mod. Large, tufted seating provides island perches along the way.
