Steeped in 115 years of American manufacturing tradition, Cortina (known then as Conneaut Leather) began producing quality upholstery leather in 1903. We’ve grown over the years and now work from a 55,000-square-foot, ISO-certified, state-of-the-art leather manufacturing facility still located on the shores of Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio. We begin with raw hides and control every step of the process, giving us the unique ability to produce custom leathers within days, where competitors require weeks or months.

In 1986, Cortina Leathers commenced working with select artisan Italian tanneries, designing beautifully colored and finished upholstery leathers to meet the demands of the global architecture and design community, with a special focus on the luxury hotel and residential interiors sectors. Cortina Leathers has since then built a global reputation for offering elegant leathers, at an accessible price and supported by unmatched focus on the designer's needs.
